The very promising Ludovicus comes from the second crop of the international 1.50m jumping stallion Edinburgh. With his outstanding conformation, excellent attitude, powerful canter and surplus of athletic ability, this KWPN-approved stallion seems to be an asset for both sport and breeding.

With successively the strikingly performing Edinburgh and the proven inheritors Balou du Rouet and Clinton, Ludovicus has interesting bloodlines. This damline already produced several international showjumpers, such as Lauren Crook’s Grand Prix showjumper Dancer (s.Orlando) and the 1.40/1.45m showjumpers Douglas (s.Canturano) and Elinck (s.Orlando).

Ludovicus is approved for the KWPN after he scored a good total of 83.5 points in the performance test, including 8.5s for the canter, reflexes, scope, attitude and talent as a showjumper. His first, promising foals were born in 2020 and he now continues his career under the saddle of Pieter Keunen, the rider of co-owner Stal Hendrix.
