Stallion approvals
Stallion approvals
Every year we are preparing stallions for the approvals of the KWPN, NRPS, Zangersheide and other studbooks. Many stallions have developed into successful approved stallions and sport horses, such as:
In 2012 the Heartbreaker son Cidane (ds.Ramiro Z) was approved for the KWPN. We had him in training since he was three years old and Kristian competed with Cidane very successfully. In 2012 Cidane was achieving great results in the Dutch VION Cup championship, he was selected for the KWPN performance test and scored 84 points at his approval.
In 2011, Dortmund HS (Vigaro x Triton) was selected for the KWPN performance test. He passed this in the spring of 2012 with a total of 79 points. Pictured from left to right: Jan van Meever, Dortmund HS and Jos Houwen.
Zjohn G (Casantos x Ramiro Z) was approved for Zangersheide as a three-years-old. Fieke competed him in the young horse classes and afterwards he was successful with Kristian up to national 1.35/1.40m classes.
Cees (Casantos x Livingstone) was approved for the NRPS studbook. He has an outstanding temperament and great conformation. As a four-years-old he was sold as a hunter to the United States.
Capitos (Cantos x Royal Bravour) was approved for the AES. Kristian won his first championship in Limburg aboard Cees on 1.00m level, before he was gelded and sold as a showjumper. As a seven-years-old, Cees competed in the WC for young showjumpers in Lanaken.
Tilders Casantos (Cantos x Cassini I) was selected as a three-years-old for the performance tests for both the KWPN and NRPS studbooks. He passed with high marks for the KWPN and got his approval.
Cantos was approved for the NRPS as a three-years-old. Under the saddle of Trudi Houwen and Henk van den Broek, he showed his skills in the performance test. Based on his good performances, he was approved for the KWPN a few years later. Nowadays Cantos is reknown for producing excellent showjumpers. in 2010 this son of Contender got awarded with the ‘keur’ predicate for both the KWPN and NRPS, which confirms his breeding value. The pony stallion FS Harry Potter (FS Don’t Worry) was approved for the NRPS studbook. He competed with Kristian successfully. As a gelding he performed well with several other young riders afterwards, in both dressage and showjumping.
